hey to all,
I cant get my braille note quarty keyboard to connect to my computer using the active sync version four point five.
when i hit enter on active sync all it says is no partnership but it don't give me any options.
and whaen i tell the braille note to connect via the serial port from the utilities menu it just says connecting to active sync via serial port but it dont make that chiming sound.
And i have keysoft version seven point zero.
I'd like to be able to put more books on to my braille note from bookshare before i go back to get my new guide dog so i'll have something to read.
thanks for reading

Hmm. I don't know what to do. I've never been in that situation before. Sorry if I can't help you. I'd try calling HumanWare as well.

Hi, in ActiveSync, go to the file menu, get connected. Make sure both ends of the cable are connected and all that and hit next. Your pc should start making this weird dinging sound. Now press c for connect to activesync on your bn. If all goes well, your pc should make an scending tone and your bn, hmm... not sure what that is. haha! And your pc should bring up a new partnership dialog. Also I forget where this is, but I think it's in file menu, properties or something. Make sure you're allowing devices through the serial port.

HTH!

The other possibillity is to down grade active sync to 4.1. I believe the braille note is still running windows 2003 so 4.1 should work. Just a thought.

Yeah, but the next upgrade will supposedly cost 2 SMA's, meaning they will update CE as well.

How does having Windows CE version 4.2 suck, just curious?
